Blood Famine

The vamps once hid behind cold walls,  

In the night, their slurping sounds;  

But the vampires soon won everywhere,  

Driving  humans underground..

Oh, now they  hunger in the moonlight,  

Oh, they've a  thirst that never ends;  

Now all that’s left is dread and fright,  

As Midnight's spawn ascend.

All the  bones of prey lie scattered,  

Now most creatures crave a taste;  

Their teeth long,  sharp, and splattered,  

Chase hearts'  pulses to waste.

In this barren realm of terror,  

Where every red drop is so-prized,  

A famine grows for the undead terrors,  

While humans hope...and fight to survive.
